LIBERTY'S DEFENSE straightJacket Thermal Attenuator
Ok, so sometimes there are accessories you can add to your rifle build that are just COOL, they look AWESOME, and you're proud to have them, especially to flex on your buddies who don't have them. Then there are FUNCTIONAL upgrades that you add which are designed for a purpose, they might not be the height of "bling" but they're things you WANT because you want your sh!t to WORK! Rarely..... rarely..... do those two concepts collide in a glorious explosion of awesomeness that not only LOOK killer, but add SUPREME functionality to your rifle. This is the Liberty's Defense straightJacket suppressor cover. These things LOOK absolutely killer, post a photo of your rifle with one of these on Instagram and your follower count goes up immediately. They're THAT cool! BUT if you've shot with a suppressor and burned the sh!t out of your hand just touching it by accident, you know how much heat can be a problem when shooting suppressed. The straightJacket is the answer. These things are belt-fed full-auto rated up to 3,000°F!! Yeah, they're pretty cool and if you are shooting with a suppressor, you obviously NEED one.
Available in both Natural Tan and Black color, for pretty much every suppressor on the market. We only STOCK these for the suppressor models we carry, but they are available for any other suppressor you may have. PLEASE specify your suppressor model on the note on your order if you are not selecting one of our individually listed models. If an individually listed model does not say "In Stock", we do not have one on hand but you can still order one to be built for you as "Made to Order". For any non-listed models, these covers are always BUILT-TO-ORDER so expect a few weeks for build time. If the model of your suppressor is a common one that Liberty's Defense already has a mold for, it will be quicker. If they need to get the specs and build a model first, it will take a bit longer, but Liberty's Defense can build a cover for ANY suppressor, so don't worry!
A combination of Kevlar, basalt, amorphous silica, and aluminized silica joined together with Kevlar and stainless steel thread to create the full auto rated Liberty's Defense staightJacket Thermal Attenuator, which provides absolute flame resistance and heat mitigation for direct and continuous contact with your silencer's extreme continuous temperatures up to 2,000°F and short excursions of 3,000°F.
Solutions for Dynamic Environments
The inception of our suppressor straightJacket (Patent Pending) design came from the owner’s personal need for an absolute flame-resistant suppressor cover that would not fail during the performance of required duties and training as a SWAT Operator and Sniper. Each straightJacket is made to order for a perfect custom fit. Liberty’s Defense is a USMC Service Disabled Veteran and Law Enforcement Officer (former SWAT Operator/Sniper)Owned Small Business.
Handcrafted for the Most Austere Conditions
Our suppressor covers provide the greatest protective thermal barrier for weapons with high rates of fire typical with both semi-auto and full auto, including belt fed weapon systems. Suppressor mirage seen through magnified optics is eliminated when using a straightJacket (Patent Pending). The straightJacket is the superior solution for suppressed weapons. Our suppressor cover will never melt or catch on fire as every material included in it is flame resistant down to the stainless-steel thread that holds it together.
Suppressor Thermal Attenuation
The Liberty’s Defense straightJacket Thermal Attenuator (Patent Pending) utilizes four separate layers of absolute flame proof high temperature fabrics which provides direct and continuous contact with suppressor extreme operating temperatures up to 2,000°F and a flash short excursions rating of 3,000°F. The fabrics are stitched together with stainless-steel thread to ensure the integrity of the cover’s absolute heat resistance. The adjustable retention system consists of a marine grade stainless-steel cable which is coiled with constricting pressure across the full length of the suppressor and is overlapped on the barrel end of the suppressor. The cable is locked into a marine grade stainless steel snap shackle that is attached to a Mil-Spec Kevlar webbing and steel slide which allows tension adjustments. The simplicity of the cable and snap shackle design affords the shooter ease in the ability to install or remove the straightJacket in only a few seconds.
